Enhancing on the beautiful vegan lounge from the last River Festival, the Green Earth Village will be an eclectic mix of wellbeing, nature, performance, vegan products, food & arts. Produced by our partners at the Green Earth Café.
Come and visit the Eco Forest and bring the children to the talks and workshops in the Green Earth Kids area.
The Sunrise stage will give local up-and-coming musicians the opportunity to be involved in the River Festival.
This area is also on the doorstep of The Higgins Bedford which will be hosting Heritage Bedford, Bedfordshire Libraries & Bedford Archives Services with some free family craft activities, trails and quizzes.
Castle Mound has long offered an excellent viewing spot for the various river activities taking place throughout the Festival weekend, including the racing and the illuminated boat parade on Saturday evening. Visitors can enjoy the catering options on offer or bring a picnic.

The 2024 River Festival will include countless river activities, eight live music and performance areas, the Sports Island, Family Island, Green Earth Village, the wonderful offerings of the Festival Market, Bedford Festival of Motoring, plus so much more!
